Guess what? Those were probably programmers working for other companies, before MS put them out of business. Next time a homeless asks you, who do you work for, tell him you’re a car salesman, otherwise you might get a good beating ;-)
Or better, move back to Florida!

Instead of just hanging outside the conference center with a cup waiting for handouts, there was a pair of them that were telling anti-Bill Gates jokes. Not only was it topical and appropriate to be doing so at a WWDC conference, but they were actually pretty funny jokss. Instead of calling it panhandling, they referred to it as "entertaining the geeks for donations". I'm pretty sure they made a killing. Reminds me of the guys outside of WWDC asking for money.
